After a Good Samaritan called Stray Rescue of St. Louis, a tiny puppy abused and cast aside was safely rescued.
There is a junk pile where many neighbors throw away trash and unwanted items. A wicked person thought this puppy belonged there. A concerned caller informed them that the dog was hiding among the junk pile.
He had puncture wounds on his face, which caught rescuers attention. Stray Rescue wrote on Facebook, “He’s just a little puppy! His eyes are messed up, and he has puncture wounds on his face. He’s still a happy puppy.” The Good Samaritan told them there are people in the neighborhood involved in Pitbull fighting. Chowder wagged his tail when Donna approached him and let her pick him up. It is probably that Chowder was used as a bait dog and bitten by a much larger dog.
He buried his head in one of their shoulders as soon as they got Chowder in the car. “On his freedom ride, he just buried his face in our arms,” they wrote. “We are so grateful to the callers for taking action.” “The thought of anyone treating him badly makes us so weepy. This angel needs us.”
One Stray Rescue supporter wrote, “It’s like he’s passing his pain on to someone who will heal him! Oh my heart!” after looking at the touching photograph.
In time, Chowder will be looking for a forever home after he’s been “fixed up.”.
