During a rural Greece trip, a stray puppy runs behind the car of a woman and becomes lucky beyond belief.
Valia Orfanidou’s car was chased by the puppy out of nowhere.
After playing hide-and-seek with the puppy, Valia stopped her car, furthermore She is an experienced animal rescuer.
It turned out that the smart puppy “rescued himself” as she says in the video. He hid under the wheels of her car, so she couldn’t leave without him for 10 minutes.
It was no longer possible for anyone else to help during that time, a characteristic attitude Valia says is common in her country due to the millions of stray dogs. But she knew she could not move on without the pup. In the video, she says, “I couldn’t let that innocence be tainted or shattered.”
Eventually, Valia catches him and he squeals, but moments later he is sitting happily in her car and trusting her to care for him. She admits she has never fostered such a young dog. Most of her previous rescues were older animals.
The whole experience of fostering Bandit has been delightful for her and has renewed her optimism about animal rescue. He was rescued in Greece in late October 2020. The Orphan Pet recommends that you contact her if you are interested in adopting him. He is two months old and has received his first vaccines as well as being dewormed and healthy.
