It wasn’t long ago when rescuers found a stray who was desperately in need of medical attention. Elsa had suffered from mange for a long time, and finally, help had arrived.

The volunteers with Ray Animal Rescue were greeted by Elsa who was wagging her tail when they arrived on scene. As if she were saying, “Thank you,” Elsa repeatedly gave her paw to one of the women. But Elsa didn’t want to be rescued, and the rescuers soon realized why.

As the volunteers approached Elsa’s little pal Hugo, she led them to him. They formed a friendship despite their differences of race and blood on the streets. Hugo’s rescue was the only way for the volunteers to save Elsa! Their jaws dropped! Dogs are loyal creatures, but this was something else entirely!
