An adorable dog named Buddy suffered severe burns after being set on fire. The poor dog spent about 7 months in Mississippi State University’s hospital, but he then went to a foster home to continue his healing.
Buddy now wears an e-collar most of the time because his skin grafts are still fragile. His skin grafts between his eyes, which are slowly healing, also require a bandage.
The Mississippi State veterinarians have continued to treat Buddy since his story went viral, and Buddy is making progress.
According to Tunica Humane Society, his bandages have now been removed, and he appears to be much happier now.
