The same stray dogs sit in front of Dr. Cem Baykal, an Istanbul resident, every day as he walks to work. For six years, he has followed the same pattern and has seen the dogs there every day.
The two pups are always together, and with one other’s support, they seem to have been best friends for their whole lives. Among the home goods sold at Istikbal Mobile are beds, couches, mattresses, sheets, and curtains. What is really remarkable about the company is that its proprietor chose to better the lives of these local stray animals after developing a tender spot for them. This man wanted to do something to make the nights easier and more bearable for homeless animals, despite their numerous needs.
Cem said to The Dodo: “This store’s owner places a mattress with a plastic cover in front of the establishment.” It is common for the dogs to sleep on the mattress that is set up on the pavement. The owner of the business is always eager to assist them, and the dogs seem to be grateful for his kindness. Cem also said: “The shop provides them a bed every day if it’s winter. In the heat, they provide them with shade and drink.
Thanks to man, these two puppies are no longer forced to spend the evenings on the pavements and endure the cold winter. After walking these streets for a while, they have become well known and are fed by the locals.
Even though every neighbour contributes to the dogs’ food supply, the proprietor of this company goes above and above. There is a claim by 100 that as a result of the affluence of the area, the pups are fed and watered by everyone. However, no one seems to care about providing them with a safe home.
