A puppy’s life should be filled with adventures, playtime, and lots of snuggles, but Fig had to grow up fast when he was rescued. He was so thin he could barely stand up or walk when he was rescued. Immediately after the pup was put into the rescuer’s car, Kendall thanked the woman for her kindness.
As they drove to the emergency vet clinic, Fig felt Kendall’s love and brushed up against her. He stretched his legs and placed his paws in her hands as though he were saying, “Thank you.” Fig was taken straight to the emergency vet clinic.
As soon as Fig arrived at the clinic, he was given a bath and IV fluids. Fig was gentle and loving towards the staff, and yearned for their attention, despite his limited energy. In a week, Fig was healthy enough to go to a medical foster home. He weighed 25 pounds, but he wagged his tail when he saw his new friends.
I would like to thank Jersey Pits Rescue and Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge for saving Fig’s life! His transformation has been amazing! Thanks for saving his life, Jersey Pits Rescue and Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge!
