Asoon and Arong weren’t just pets to Grandpa – they were his family. While the dogs’ entire world revolved around their elderly human, he nurtured and raised them as if they were children. As Grandpa was diagnosed with cancer, his happy little paradise came crashing down. Although he was becoming progressively frailer and weaker each day, he still cared for Arong and Asoon.
When Grandpa collapsed one day, he was rushed to the emergency room after suffering a stroke. Even when vitality was slipping through his fingers like sand, he could only think about how to care for his two darling dogs, even when vitality was slipping through his fingers like sand.
A kind neighbor took care of the dogs’ needs while Grandpa was away at the hospital, but they were inconsolable thinking about the scary future while Grandpa was away at the hospital. Arong and Asoon would cry and moan as if something ominous was coming.
In this video, we see the partially paralyzed Grandpa coming to terms with his terminal illness and deciding to do right by his furry children. As he tears down in tears, he vows to “not hurt them twice” and laments being an “incapable” old dad to Arong and Asoon. In hopes that they will thrive after his death, he entrusts them to an animal welfare group.
