A tiny puppy that had been abandoned, starving, and sick, greeted rescuers with his tail wagging and wanted to share his only scrap of food. The expression on his face was almost as if he knew that his rescue came at just the right time, and he was thanking his saviors for saving his life.
In any other case, the pup probably would not have lived much longer if they had not arrived exactly when they did. Despite it|s size, the puppy could barely fit a single slice of bread in his mouth. The size of it was almost as large as he was! As a result, it was both tremendously heartbreaking and adorable to see him trying to share.
In spite of his former loneliness, Gunnar was still keen to share with strangers despite being burned by humans. You can’t help but cry as you envision this small, sweet boy left all alone, fending for himself in the cold. It was the Sidewalk Specials who saved this sweet boy from it all, and he would no longer have to long for love.
As a result of Gunnar’s serious anemia, tick bite fever, and one of the worst worm and tick infestations ever discovered, a vet found that he was just seven weeks old. “We were there just in the nick of time for him,” one of his rescuers said. It is unknown how long he would have survived living outside, alone, without any food for much longer.
In the morning, Gunnar was checked out by the veterinarian and then sent to a foster home for the night. It didn’t take him long to find his own family after he spent just one week with his foster family. It did not take the pint-sized pup much time to adjust to his new pack.
Since Gunnar had never seen a lawn, he was extremely curious about them. Besides running and chasing the ball all day, he also developed an obsession with rocks, but not just any rocks. Gunnar searches for the perfect rock, whether it’s in his backyard or at the beach, and proudly presents it to his family. “Freya, Gunnar’s mom, says he’s definitely our little rockstar.
Gunnar has been a wonderful foster brother, and his family even began fostering puppies so he could play with them!
