Louie and Bridget were huddled tightly together at the shelter when they were abandoned. They did not need to be separated if they wanted to survive. Their photo caught the attention of a couple who drove straight to the shelter to take them in.
No explanation was given to the owner of the dogs when he dropped them off. Louie hid beneath Bridget and shook uncontrollably once in the car. The couple happily took them home, knowing they deserved a second chance. As his protector, Bridget stood tall over him, making him feel safe.
As the dogs weren’t used to living in a house, the couple decided to train them in a crate so they could get used to it. Louie didn’t want Bridget separated from him in a separate crate, so they combined the two and gradually introduced them to the rest of the pack. It was then that their true colors emerged, and it was breathtaking to witness!
