As reported by SNARR Animal Rescue, when Woody was five weeks old, he was bitten by another dog and medicated himself. In order to save Woody, the SNARR discovered that he was chained outside and abandoned. Woody survived on food provided by neighbors for six weeks, until SNARR rescued him.
In a Facebook post, SNARR said that Woody’s family had previously moved and he was left behind. “So we decided that it was time to remove him from such a loveless place and bring him home to us,” she added. “Woody looks a little bit different from normal dogs, but this does not bother us in the slightest, in fact, it makes us love him even more.” despite the deviated face. The Pit Bull’s rescuers aren’t just attracted to his looks, but to his big heart as well. Woody’s adoptive mom didn’t feel well when he came to his foster home.
The adoptive mother of Jamie Bond said, “I got a fever on the first day we got Woody.” He stayed by my side and knew something was wrong. I stayed on the couch with him all afternoon because he knew something was wrong. Woody loves to curl up in bed and rest his head on my chest. Now, he is like a shadow of me, making sure I’m always safe and sound. Now 8 months old, Woody is also making up for her missed “puppy” time and is very playful and affectionate.
A dog with a crooked face is looking for a home forever. To find Woody the best home possible, SNARR should plan very selectively for those who wish to adopt the dog. They wrote, “Woody, so lovable, needs a little love and a little practice, he’s a little hottie. He also needs a house without cats. He chases them away.”
“As well as being raised with four other bitches, Woody is absolutely amazing. He is currently being raised with them and is absolutely amazing. It is best to have Woody with older dogs (over 10 years old). He doesn’t get aggressive with anything or anyone, but he is a big dog, so he can be agitated and jumpy at times, so larger dogs are better suited to him.” Woody is available for adoption through the SNARR Northwest website for those who meet the criteria. Having searched for months for the perfect permanent home for Woody, SNAAR is thrilled to announce that he has found it.
We wish Woody all the best with his new family and new friends and also thanks his new family for taking such good care of him. Woody has a new home, new family, new friends.
