Despite the fact that Justice the Pitbull does not appear to be your typical dog, he is truly stunning in his own rway. He just had a hard start in life, which was not his fault. As a result of abuse and abandonment, Justice made his way to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter. At the shelter, he finally learned what it means to be loved and respected, and he is now enjoying life and beating the odds. He can only hope that his heinous perpetrators will eventually pay for what they did.

Approximately two years of age, Justice was found wandering the streets of Indiana with severe chemical burns that appeared to have been deliberately inflicted upon him. Despite being unable to stand up for even a short time, the organization immediately provided him with medical care. At first, he was wrapped in bandages. Then, gradually but steadily, his skin began to heal and some of his fur began to grow back. His appearance will never be the same as it was before the tragedy, but that’s okay. The staff at the shelter adores him for who he is, and as it turns out, so does everyone else.
“He was extremely sad at first,” said Jessica Lynch, a veterinarian. “He’s certainly come a long way. He has a lot more personality today. After nearly a year of medical care and training, Justice was ready for adoption. Several fans already waited in line to adopt him, including people from other states and countries. Because the vets wanted to be close by if Justice needed any additional treatment in the future, the shelter would only accept applications within a 100-mile radius.
In his new home, Justice was soon adopted, as planned. During his time at the shelter, he established a significant fan base, so his parents continue sharing updates about him on the shelter’s social media page. The owners have made it clear that, despite his ordeal, Justice is now enjoying life well. He had such a tumultuous past that training him was a challenge. When instructed what to do, he often resisted. It was because of this that an outstanding dog trainer named Lexi worked tirelessly with him for over a year to train him. After gradually loving her, Justice has only one more training session left with her. Lexi said that Justice has only one more training session left.
The more Justice becomes at home, the more comfortable he becomes. The more affectionate he becomes, the more often he asks his loving parents to rub his belly. While rolling over appears to be a little gesticulate, it is actually a sign of weakness in most dogs. He knows he will never be hurt again while he is with them because he strokes his stomach showing that he completely trusts his humanity.
Since its inception, the shelter has worked tirelessly to determine who was responsible for Justice’s abuse. The prize for this person’s conviction began at $5,000 and has since increased to $20,000. Unfortunately, the case is not yet closed, but several anonymous tips have helped bring the shelter closer. During the investigation, they identified a former Justice, whose name was Roscoe at the time. The person claimed that they gave Justice away before the incident, but it is unclear whether they are telling the truth. This heinous crime cannot be prosecuted based on the evidence available.
The Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter would appreciate any information you have about Justice’s circumstances. The hateful person who hurt him needs to be punished immediately.
